This time in Macau, I chose to stay in the old town area instead of Taipa or the new urban district, booking a suite at Sofitel Macau at Ponte 16. The pace here is slower compared to the newer areas, but it offers a more authentic taste of life.

🛋 Suite Space Overview
The suite consists of a living room, bedroom, and two bathrooms. The room design is not particularly French-style. The living room features a separate sofa area and a desk area, with warm lighting that makes it perfect for reading or quietly enjoying the sea view outside the window.
💬 Summary
Compared to the dazzling modernity of other new hotels in Macau, Sofitel Ponte 16 exudes a timeless elegance. It’s not the type that impresses at first glance, but rather the kind that makes you want to stay a few extra nights, where closing the door feels like entering your own private sanctuary.
It’s ideal for those who need a bit of distance and space—close to the hustle and bustle, yet closer to yourself.
