Lunch at the Old Manila International Airport

Blackbird is an elegant art deco restaurant in the historic Nielsen Tower. This building used to be the old airport control tower and the restaurant has preserved the original architecuture. It is a great place to spend time with friends for an good slow lunch or dinner. The main dining room is well lit and tables are spaced apart so it is not so cramped.

The menu changes seasonally and this lunch did not disappoint. I enjoyed the beef tenderloin main and hazelnut semifreddo.

I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a new dining experience.
