A Spontaneous Trip to the Maldives: Angsana Velavaru and Maafushi

We embarked on an impromptu journey to the Maldives, with our passports arriving just a day before departure.

We chose Velavaru Island, also known as Turtle Island, and booked a three-night stay in an overwater villa. The weather was perfect, and we were fortunate to avoid any rain. Our days were spent doing nothing, thinking of nothing, simply enjoying the luxury of wasting time. We also arranged a beachside candlelight dinner with friends.
