Malta, a small gem embraced by the Mediterranean

From the moment I arrived in Malta, I was greeted by its warm glow. Being a small country, it felt approachable, and its charm grew closer with every step I took. The unique scenery, blending European, Arabian, and Mediterranean influences, felt unfamiliar yet quickly seeped into my heart.

Valletta's old town was like a movie set. Yellow limestone buildings, narrow and long alleys, and stairways leading to the sky. Walking through them, time seemed to slow down, and I found myself immersed in the stories the city whispered. The view of the sea and the Grand Harbor from the Upper Barrakka Gardens was breathtaking, too vast to capture in a single glance.

Comino Island's Blue Lagoon was the highlight of my Malta trip. As soon as the boat arrived, I was greeted by a crystal-clear emerald sea. The water was so transparent that you could see the bottom even without touching it, and simply floating on the surface felt like time had stopped.

Sliema and St. Julian's offered a different vibe. The seaside promenades lined with cafes and restaurants, and the lively atmosphere as locals and travelers gathered in the evening. During the day, it was relaxed, while at night, it became more vibrant.

Malta may be small, but it leaves a lasting impression. It’s a place where the alleys, the sea, and the sunset evoke more emotions than the typical tourist spots. Thinking back on it brings a quiet smile to my face.
