For this trip to Malacca, we chose Casa del Rio Melaka. The location is great, close to the Malacca River, and just a few minutes' walk from many attractions in Malacca. It's also convenient for families traveling by car. It's like an oasis after the long drive from Singapore.

🏡 About the hotel
The hotel is decorated in a Spanish style, full of enthusiasm. The room is clean and spacious, and the room we stayed in had a balcony overlooking the beautiful river view and fountain, which was very healing! The reception experience was great, with a refreshing lemon ginger drink that made us feel very relaxed. The hotel facilities are also very complete, with a swimming pool, private deck, and bicycle rental, which is especially suitable for family vacations.

🛌 Room experience
The design and decoration of the room are very exquisite, and every detail is taken care of. There is a large luxury bed for a good night's sleep. There is also a large bathtub in the room, which is great for a bath. Free snacks and a large TV are also a plus, and the kids were cheering. We also especially liked the clothes rack on the balcony, which was very convenient for drying clothes in the afternoon. Although the facilities are a bit old, they are well maintained and very clean.

📍 Nearby recommendations
Jonker Street is within walking distance from the hotel, and it's super convenient for shopping and eating. We especially recommend going there at night to experience the atmosphere of the night market. There are also many interesting museums nearby, such as the Naval Museum and the Customs Museum. For those who like adventure, the private deck by the river is undoubtedly a good place to go. You can rent a bicycle and ride along the river to enjoy the natural scenery of Malacca.

Overall, Casa del Rio Melaka was a very satisfying choice for our trip, with attentive service and beautiful surroundings. We will definitely come back next time!
