Hatten Hotel Melaka is a chic, business-class hotel located at Hatten Square, Jalan Merdeka, Bandar Hilir, Melaka, stepping distance from Dataran Pahlawan Megamall, historical attractions, dining and entertainment outlets.  It is 704-all-suite, with rooms ranging in size from about 32 sqm to 98 sqm, designed with modern aesthetics, floor-to-ceiling windows that offer views of the city, pool or Straits. 

Why go? Because the amenities are thoughtfully curated: an outdoor pool, spa & wellness centre, rooftop bar (Alto Sky Lounge on the 44th floor), multiple dining options including Chatterz All-Day Dining, and excellent meeting/ballroom facilities for events large or small.  The hotel is also super convenient for sightseeing — about a 15-minute walk to Jonker Street, and similarly close to A Famosa, Taming Sari Tower, the Dutch Stadthuys, and other heritage sites. 

What I felt during my stay was how well Hatten blends comfort and location: waking up to the golden light over the Straits, stepping out and finding good food and old-world charm just around the corner, then returning each evening to a modern room with plush bedding and service that feels polished. It’s not just a place to rest in Melaka — it adds style to the stay.
