Mile is truly Yunnan's hidden gem✨ With fewer crowds, stunning scenery, and super photogenic spots! I just visited recently and want to share my laid-back vacation route~
🚶♀️Must-Visit Attractions:
📍Huquan Ecological Park: A free large park! The lakeside trail is perfect for strolls, and the sunset looks like a painting🌅. P.S. Don't forget to take photos at the lakeside café – the viral swing is there!
📍Dongfengyun Scenic Area: The red brick architecture is so artistic! Best visited after 3 PM when the soft light creates beautiful layers for photos📸 (Ticket: 60 CNY/person)
📍Taipinghu Forest Park: The desertification park that's all over social media! Must-see spots include the cactus zone and flower fields. Recommended to rent an electric cart (30 CNY/hour)
📍Keyi Ancient Town: This Yi ethnic village is wonderful to explore! Daily folk performances in the afternoon, and don't miss the honey walnut candy🍯
🍜Food Recommendations:
▫️Liangsheng Snacks: Locals' favorite rice noodle spot! Huge bowl for 12 CNY – be sure to add their homemade pickles
▫️Zhuyuan Braised Chicken Rice Noodles: Authentic old-brand restaurant with fragrant, tender chicken (Location: Middle section of Huquan Road)
▫️Huquan Hillside BBQ: So therapeutic to enjoy BBQ at sunset! Recommended: grilled tilapia and stuffed tofu
💡Practical Tips:
✅Attractions are within 30 minutes by taxi; recommended to charter a car (~200 CNY/day)
✅Wear solid-color dresses at Dongfengyun for insta-worthy shots
✅Big temperature difference between day and night! Bring a light jacket
✅Just 40 minutes by high-speed train from Kunming to Mile Station – super convenient
