High-speed train from Kunming in 1 hour direct
High-speed train Kunming South Station ➡️ Mile Station (about 34 minutes)
After getting off, take a taxi about 30 minutes to the scenic area. If driving, it takes about 2 hours. Navigate to "Taiping Lake International Ecotourism Resort." It is recommended to travel off-peak during holidays.
🌟Tips: Stay at Taiping Lake Forest Cabin Hotel for free shuttle to the park + private hot spring. There are many snack shops in the park, and you can rent shared electric bikes to explore the area. It’s more cost-effective to buy a sightseeing train pass.
Bring a jacket, the natural scenery is beautiful, with lots of flowers, plants, and trees, so be sure to bring mosquito repellent and sunscreen 🧴. Mile’s weather ☁️ is unpredictable.
