Amanohashidate, often referred to as the “Bridge to Heaven,” is a 3.6-kilometre pine-covered sandbar in Miyazu Bay, northern Kyoto Prefecture. Recognised as one of Japan’s “Three Scenic Views,” it offers breathtaking vistas and a blend of natural beauty and cultural heritage.

- Chion-ji Temple
A peaceful Buddhist temple near the southern end, known for its large gate and omikuji (paper fortunes).
