Today, before watching a movie in Mong Kok, I looked for some snacks nearby to fill up. Walking along Dundas Street, I discovered a newly opened modern soy product shop😍 The decor is quite bright, featuring nostalgic-style tables and stools.

Although the restaurant is named after soy products📜, it also offers egg pancakes, fried noodles, congee, toast, gua bao, and rice rolls, making it a versatile local snack shop perfect for light meals between main meals😉

🫔 Signature Mapo Tofu Skin Egg Pancake
Unexpectedly combines mapo tofu with egg pancake. The spicy sauce on top is very appetizing and flavorful🔥 Inside the egg pancake are layers of tofu skin, giving it a chewy texture. With added cheese, there’s a slight stretch and savory taste, but the crushed peanuts sprinkled on top are even more enticing🥜

🥚 Teppan Egg Fried Rice Roll
Only a few local snack shops offer teppan rice rolls, and you can find it here too🍢 The chewy rice roll is pan-fried to a slightly crispy texture, coated with soy sauce and egg mixture. Adding sweet sesame mixed sauce makes it even more satisfying☺️

🍔 Tuna Fried Egg Gua Bao
This place serves Taiwanese-style gua bao, combining tuna and fried sunny-side-up egg, essentially a homemade Chinese burger🤪 The bun has a subtle sweetness when chewed, and biting into it releases golden egg yolk, balancing the saltiness of the tuna.

😆 Braised Tofu and Tofu Puff
A super flavorful choice, the tofu is tender and smooth, and the tofu puff absorbs the sauce well, with a stronger taste.

Arguably the only pistachio tofu pudding in town🈵️ Unlike other shops that use pistachio paste, this one uses plenty of pistachio sauce, rich and smooth, topped with crunchy pistachio nut pieces, creating a highly layered taste experience. A must-try🆗️
