A friend recommended this restaurant specializing in spicy dishes, so while strolling around Mong Kok today, I decided to stop by for dinner 😋. I ordered their signature hot pot, which was absolutely amazing. You can choose from a variety of ingredients, and I picked pork belly slices, beef tongue, pork intestines, and baby bok choy. The pot was generously portioned, and every bite was infused with the spicy flavor and rich hot pot sauce. The pork belly slices were perfectly balanced with fat and lean meat, tender and soft; the beef tongue was chewy and bouncy; the fried pork intestines were soaked in the sauce, flavorful without any unpleasant odor; the fried tofu had a slightly crispy exterior and a soft, smooth interior; and the baby bok choy was crisp and sweet. You can even customize the level of spiciness.
In addition to the hot pot, we also ordered spicy shrimp and mouthwatering chicken. The shrimp was incredibly bouncy, and the sauce was both spicy and appetizing. The mouthwatering chicken had a perfect balance of sour, spicy, and numbing flavors, with tender and smooth meat. For dessert, we had brown sugar glutinous rice cakes, which had a crispy exterior and a soft, chewy interior, providing a nice balance to the heavy flavors and making for a delicious yet not overly rich ending.
