Mesmerising Mostar

Mostar in the south of Bosnia and Herzegovina, famous for its iconic Old Bridge is a mesmerising place. The beautiful Neretva River runs right through the middle of the town. A place full of history from the mediaeval period up until its turbulent modern times. No visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina is complete without visiting this beautiful town. There are regular train and coach services between Sarajevo and Mostar. When visiting Mosta make sure to climb the narrow staircase to the top of the Koski Mehmed-Pasha Mosque minaret for panoramic views of the town! I can’t wait to visit the Balkans again!
