[Nagasaki] Enjoy everything in one day! A sightseeing plan that also includes gourmet food

Nagasaki has flourished as a port since the Edo period.

It is a fascinating city where Japanese, Western and Chinese cultures intersect.

This time, we will introduce a "Nagasaki 1-day sightseeing plan" that allows you to enjoy Nagasaki, which has many attractions, by streetcar!

🚃🚃🚃

★Start★
Around 9:00 Nagasaki Electric Tramway Ishibashi Station

Take the Glover Sky Road (inclined elevator) just off the Ishibashi tram stop and head to Glover Garden Gate 2.

---------------1: Glover Garden ---------------
There is the former Glover House, which is a component of the World Heritage Site "Sites of Japan's Meiji Industrial Revolution: Iron and Steel, Shipbuilding and Coal Mining".

Also, since it is on high ground, the view of Nagasaki Port spreading out below is spectacular✨

💰️620 yen
🕐️1-2 hours
💡If you enter from the main gate, it's a continuous uphill climb. We recommend entering from the second gate on the mountain side and going around the garden on the way down!
--------------------------------------------

↓3 min walk

-------------- 2: Oura Cathedral --------------
The oldest Gothic-style church in Japan, built for foreigners living in Nagasaki.

💰️1,000 yen
🕐️1 hour
💡There is a great deal on a combined ticket for Glover Garden and Oura Cathedral. Search for "Walking World Heritage Ticket" before starting your trip♪
---------------------------------------------

↓7 min walk

---------- Lunch: Chinese Restaurant Beijing ----------
💰️Around 1,000 yen
※Closed on Sundays
💡I had champon and sara udon, and they were the best I've ever had.
There doesn't seem to be a restroom, so it's best to use the restroom before going ◎
----------------------------------------------

Ishibashi Station
↓About 20 min
Meganebashi Station

----------------- 3: Meganebashi Bridge -----------------
Japan's first Tang-style stone bridge, built in 1634. The bridge reflected on the water looks like glasses.
🕐️30 minutes to 1 hour
💡There are many other old bridges besides Meganebashi Bridge, and many temples nearby.
----------------------------------------------

Shiyakusho Station (Line 3)
↓About 25 minutes
Urakami Station

----------- 4: Sanno Shrine and the Second Torii -----------
Half of the torii gate collapsed during the atomic bombing, but it still stands on a single pillar. Going further in, you will find Sanno Shrine and a bombed camphor tree.
🕐️30 minutes
💡A few stations away, you can also visit the Atomic Bomb Museum and Peace Memorial Park if you have time.
------------------------------------------------

Urakami Station
↓About 20 minutes
Nagasaki Station

----- Dinner: Nicky Earthin Nagasaki Station Branch -----
💰️Around 1,500 yen
💡Dinner at a famous Turkish rice restaurant. After the meal, check out the souvenir shop in the station!
------------------------------------------------

↓About 30 minutes

------------- 5: Night view from Mt. Inasa -------------
💰️Round trip by ropeway 1,250 yen
Mt. Inasa is famous for being one of the three best night views in the world.
This time, I stayed at the Mt. Inasa Tourist Hotel, which has a night view, so I didn't go up to the observation deck, but if you are going, please refer to the following.
💡A free shuttle bus runs between Nagasaki Station & major hotels ↔ the ropeway station (reservations required).
The schedule allows you to spend about 40 minutes at the observation deck.
-----------------------------------------------

★Goal★
