🍽️ A2 Food Court Batam – Best Enjoyed After Sundown

We visited A2 Food Court in Batam twice — once during the day and again at night — and hands down, the night atmosphere was much better. It becomes livelier and more vibrant in the evening with more patrons around, which adds to the energy of the place.

The setup is a modern open-air food court with a wide variety of food options ranging from seafood, grilled meats, Indonesian fare, to snacks and desserts. Prices were reasonable, making it a great spot for casual group dinners or even solo dining.

One thing to note is that there are many beer touts around who will approach you to order drinks, sometimes even before you’ve sat down. It might feel slightly pushy, but just politely decline if you’re not interested.

Overall, a good place to enjoy local food in Batam, especially if you’re looking for an open, bustling environment in the evening.
