đ Little joys near Naminoue Shrine: Affordable guesthouse just steps from the sea

This time in Okinawa, we skipped the bustling Kokusai Street and opted for a small guesthouse next to Naminoue Shrine, right by the sea.
Just a few steps from the door, we could see the shrine's torii gate and the azure waters of Naminoue Beach â a perfect combination of "prayer + sea view."
The guesthouse was small, run by locals. It lacked hotel luxury, but the rooms were clean, spacious, and had everything you needed.
The rooms were equipped with kitchenware and a microwave, so we could prepare our own breakfast or late-night snacks, feeling right at home.
Best of all, there was a 24-hour supermarket just a one-minute walk away, so we didn't have to worry about finding beer or instant noodles for dinner.
Although not in the heart of the tourist area, its tranquility was its greatest charm.
At night, we could hear the distant sound of the waves, and in the morning, a walk to Naminoue Shrine slowed down the pace of the entire day.
This feeling of being "a little distance from the hustle and bustle, yet closer to life" was like a gentle moment of being caressed by the sea breeze during our journey.
Affordable, fully equipped, and perfectly located, this little guesthouse may not be luxurious, but it's an honest and comfortable choice đ.
