Nakijin Castle Ruins (今帰仁城跡) – World Heritage Site

Nakijin Castle, built during the Ryukyu period in the 14th century, is one of Okinawa's most representative World Heritage Sites. Its massive stone walls remain, and the panoramic view of northern Okinawa from the castle ruins is breathtaking. The cherry blossom festival held every January and February creates a spectacular scene of the castle ruins and cherry blossoms.
