The wooden beams on the room ceilings and the wall contours have been carefully preserved, rough yet warm.

🏠Guesthouse Environment:
The once crooked, undernourished old banyan trees and pine trees in the courtyard are now well-cared for with spreading branches and leaves. Instead of being cut down, they've become part of the architecture, with soft, long pine needles floating ethereally in the wind.
The old walls are still embedded with various shells from the past. During construction, many voices suggested the old walls were unsightly, but she insisted on keeping them, saying these walls are the crystallization of ancient wisdom. The material and height of the walls were designed based on typhoons and tides encountered over thousands of years, always protecting this small courtyard.

✅Must Experience:
During low tide, go to the tidal flats to collect shells. When you encounter lively little crabs, gently place them behind hidden rocks, hoping they won't be discovered by other beachcombers 🦀

🍽Food Recommendations:
Just a few minutes' walk away is the owner's recommended seafood restaurant, with star chef presentation and flavors at casual dining prices. The razor clams are incredibly fresh and sweet, and the bitter gourd soup is delicious—unforgettable with just one bite.
Don't miss Nan'ao Island's first-harvest purple seaweed, which is delicious in soups, fried rice, or mixed with wontons. We bought 1 pound from the owner's recommended shop. Their dried small fish are also super fragrant, whether eaten plain or stir-fried with chili peppers.
