A thousand years of brilliance woven stitch by stitch|Nanjing Yunjin Museum

Don’t know where to go during the Spring Festival holiday? Nanjing Yunjin Museum is a great choice! Free admission🆓Here, you can encounter art and explore history and culture in depth.

✅Nanjing Yunjin originated in the Eastern Jin Dynasty and has a history of more than 1,600 years. Due to its rich culture and connotation, it is called by experts as the last milestone in the history of ancient Chinese brocade craftsmanship. It is recognized as an "Oriental treasure" and "China's unique" and is also a precious historical and cultural heritage of the Chinese nation and the world.
✅Walking into the Nanjing Yunjin Museum, it seems as if time has stopped and you have stepped into a long river of history full of brilliance and splendor! The air is filled with a faint scent of silk, which makes people slow down their pace involuntarily.
✅The exhibition hall is not very big. It mainly displays Yunjin weaving technology, fine Yunjin products from the Ming and Qing dynasties, replicas of ancient Chinese silk cultural relics, etc. There are both fabrics and clothes.
✅Nanjing Yunjin has a history of serving the royal family for more than 700 years. Many of the dragon robes and official uniforms in the Ming and Qing dynasties were made of Yunjin, which is absolutely top luxury!
✅The Dahualou loom on display in the museum can only weave 5 to 6 centimeters a day. The Yunjin, which is known for its preciousness, is precious in every detail, and the badge is also 6 cm long. The ingenuity of Yunjin is hidden in every design.
✅After visiting the exhibition, don’t miss the cultural and creative area! The small items with various brocade elements are both exquisite and practical, and I want to take every one of them home.
