Finally checked off my bucket list stay at The Lalu Nanjing! This legendary "once-in-a-lifetime" hotel absolutely lives up to its reputation, where art and river breezes work their healing magic. Let me share this perfect blend of luxury and serenity.

Master-designed as a stunning "glass box", the hotel showcases unique Eastern Zen aesthetics with symmetrical lines. The interplay of light and shadows under sunlight creates an Instagram-worthy atmosphere at every turn.

Nestled along the Yangtze River, the property offers poetic riverscapes without urban noise. We enjoyed two blissful days immersed in tranquility.

From the Pi Xiu statues and hitching posts at the entrance to the celadon displays, plum blossom screens, and curated artifacts inside – every detail whispers stories of Nanjing's six-dynasty heritage.

🍃 Accommodation
Our Deluxe River View Room featured spacious comfort with 180° panoramic views of the Yangtze. Evening sunsets from our private balcony were simply magical.

The room came with custom-made rosewood audio systems. Sipping tea by floor-to-ceiling windows while enjoying welcome desserts and music was pure indulgence.
