Wondering where to stay in Confucius Temple? Flower Villa·Xitang is a top contender—tucked right in the heart of the scenic area, just a turn away from the Qinhuai River promenade. Enjoy evening light shows and painted boat rides without rushing, as leisurely strolls back and forth are pure bliss!
The hotel boasts a chic Chinese aesthetic, with an eye-catching wooden carved screen in the lobby—classic yet fresh. The front desk even proactively guides you to nearby snack streets, offering ultra-thoughtful service.
The room was a true delight! Our queen room featured a cozy bay window overlooking traditional tiled rooftops. Waking up to the sounds of street vendors in the morning felt like stepping into an old Nanjing courtyard. The bedding was plush, with just-right pillow height—perfect for crashing after a day of exploring. The bathroom had a smart dry-wet separation, with instant hot water for a refreshing shower. Thoughtful touches included complimentary bottled water, powerful AC for both heating and cooling, ensuring comfort year-round.
But the location steals the show! A mere 2-minute walk to the Confucius Temple archway, 5 minutes to Jiangnan Examination Hall and Dacheng Hall. Craving Jiang Youji's potstickers or Qifangge's duck oil pastries? Just 50 meters from the hotel—no long waits, and you can even pop back to your room for a quick rest. After the Qinhuai River light show at night, skip the taxi or subway—amble back to the hotel at your own pace, maybe grabbing a candied hawthorn stick as a midnight snack. The experience is simply unbeatable!
In the prime, high-value Confucius Temple area, scoring such a room at this price is a steal! Staying here makes you realize you don’t need a packed itinerary—the best sights and most authentic local flavors are right at your doorstep!
