The autumn at Nanjing Pilu Temple is stunning, with a photo-taking and check-in guide route attached

A must-visit photo spot in Nanjing! The ginkgo trees at Pilu Temple are absolutely amazing 🍂

As a laid-back photographer, I finally checked in at the long-admired Nanjing Pilu Temple this autumn. Although the temple is not large, the golden ginkgo trees make it incredibly beautiful, and every shot looks like a masterpiece.

🌟 Recommended photo spots:
1. The ginkgo tree in front of the Mahavira Hall
This is a classic spot! The vermilion hall doors paired with the golden ginkgo are especially photogenic. The morning light is best, allowing you to capture the sunlight filtering through the ginkgo leaves casting shadows on the hall doors.

2. The ancient ginkgo beside the Sutra Library
This ginkgo tree is very old, with branches full of character. You can shoot upwards capturing the ginkgo leaves against the blue sky and white clouds, which is very soothing.

3. The corner near the Bell Tower
The ginkgo trees next to the Bell Tower combined with the ancient city wall make for very artistic photos.

4. Near the incense burner
Ginkgo leaves falling on the incense burner, shot with a telephoto lens, create a very Zen atmosphere.

📍 Tips:
- The best time to shoot is mid to late November when the ginkgo leaves are fully yellow and most beautiful.
- It’s recommended to go around 10 a.m., when the light is soft and there are relatively fewer tourists.
- The ticket costs only 20 yuan, and you can buy it by scanning the code at the entrance.
- Address: No. 4 Hanfu Street (Metro Line 3)
