The Tefuye Historic Trail, located in Alishan, Chiayi County, was a hunting and tribal route opened during the Qing Dynasty for indigenous people. It stretches approximately 6.32 kilometers and connects the Tefuye and Dabang tribes. Along the trail, you'll encounter lush forests, including cypress and bamboo groves, and misty mountain scenery, offering a glimpse into the changing beauty of nature. The trail carries the historical memories and life experiences of the Tsou people, a precious cultural heritage that blends both human and natural elements. Walking along it feels like traveling back through centuries, experiencing the tranquility and grandeur of the mountains.
