Wenwu Temple, Sun Moon Lake

Wenwu Temple, also known as Guan Yu Temple🛕, is located near the Shuishe Pier at Sun Moon Lake. You can get there by cycling🚲 or taking a bus🚎. Here's a little tip: visiting during sunset is absolutely stunning💓🌤️. Check out the photos to see how beautiful it is! After sunset, the temple lights up, offering a completely different kind of beauty. Don't forget to walk to the back of the temple and climb up to the third floor. There, you'll find an ancient wall that's incredibly beautiful, and the view of the lake from this high vantage point during sunset is breathtaking. The sky turns a gorgeous orange🧡.

🚨 However, if you're visiting in the evening, make sure to double-check the bus schedule. I was quite panicked because I had planned to catch the last bus back, but I couldn't find the bus stop! Remember, you need to board the bus on the same side as the temple, but walk a bit further up, not back down the way you came🥹🥹🥹. If you miss the last bus, you'll have to walk down on your own, and it gets dark. For those cycling, don't worry too much, but be prepared for a bit of a challenge as the route is uphill and can be quite tiring😅.
