The most worthwhile place to visit during the Setouchi Art Festival: Naoshima Chichu Art Museum. You need to book your tickets online first. You can search for "Belles Reservation" on Google and you'll see the website. It's recommended to book between morning and noon. Several spots in the Chichu Art Museum are very light-sensitive; visiting during the day when the sun is strong is best. It's about a 10-minute bus ride from the harbor to the Chichu Art Museum. Photography is prohibited at most points in the museum. The most famous one is Monet's water lily painting. It's actually blurry and hard to make out. It's said that Monet suffered from severe cataracts in his old age, which is why the view is blurry. There's a cafe inside the museum where you can have lunch. I booked a 10:45 entry, so it was a great time to have lunch right afterward.
