🌟Take Kintetsu to Nara🌟
Osaka and Nara are only about a 40-minute train ride away, and a day trip from Osaka to Nara is the choice of many tourists.
Compared to JR, it takes less time to travel to Nara by Kintetsu from Osaka's Namba or Tsuruhashi, and Kintetsu Nara Station is also closer to Nara's major attractions.
🌟Looking for deer in Nara🌟
The East Pagoda of Todaiji Temple is adjacent to Kasugano Garden, both of which are located southeast of the Great Buddha Hall of Todaiji Temple. In spring, cherry blossoms bloom, embellishing the entire area with pink romance; in autumn, golden ginkgo trees and fiery red maple leaves interweave into a gorgeous picture. This is the largest grassland area in Nara Park, where herds of deer roam leisurely, sharing the quiet time in the sun with tourists. The children were chasing and playing on the grass, with laughter ringing out. Standing here, surrounded by big trees and green spaces, it seems as if all troubles are healed. To the east of the garden is the picturesque Mt. Wakakusa, to the northwest is the majestic Great Buddha Hall of Todai-ji Temple, and to the west is the South Gate of Todai-ji Temple. Surrounded by large tracts of cherry trees, the cherry blossoms are in full bloom in spring, creating a beautiful sight.
Mount Wakakusa is 342 meters above sea level. The mountain road is gentle and the entire mountain is covered with lush grass. From a distance, it looks like three bamboo hats stacked together, so it is also called "Mikasa Mountain". This mountain is not only a representative of Nara's natural beauty, but is also famous for the traditional event "Yama-sai" held every January.
To reach the summit of Mt. Wakakusa, it only takes about 30 minutes on foot from the entrance at the foot of the mountain. Standing on the top of the mountain, you can enjoy an unobstructed view of Nara's cityscape, including historic sites such as Kofuku-ji Temple and Todai-ji Temple. The view here is wide, making it a great spot for photography and viewing the beautiful scenery of Nara.
