A complex cultural space with a mix of historical buildings and modern sensibilities,
Chelsea Market, located in the Meatpacking District of Manhattan, New York
Chelsea Market was built in the 1890s and was used as a factory for the National Biscuit Company Nabisco, and is also known as the place where Oreo cookies were first produced.
After Nabisco moved the factory in 1958, it was redeveloped in the 1990s and transformed into the current complex cultural space.
