BANH CAN NGOC - Vietnamese Mini Pancakes

This is a popular local breakfast dish in Vietnam, but we decided to visit in the afternoon. Initially, we planned to try banh mi, but the place was too crowded, so we opted for this restaurant instead, which is conveniently located right next to the banh mi shop.

These mini pancakes are similar to Thai khanom krok, but the batter here isn't sweet. You can choose your toppings, such as egg, pork, or seafood. They are served with chili, peanuts, and soup, which complement the dish perfectly. It's incredibly delicious, especially the crab topping.
