📍 Must-visit attractions
Buffalo City Hall: Magnificent Art Deco architectural landmark with imposing plaza and monuments on the facade.
City Hall Observation Deck: Climb the entire city and Lake Erie views.
Liberty Building: The two statues of the Statue of Liberty on top are quite eye-catching.
Niagara Falls State Park: A natural wonder of the world, with ice and snow smoke effects in winter, super shocking!
Rainbow Bridge: An important thoroughfare connecting the United States and Canada, across the bridge is Niagara Falls, Canada.
Buffalo City Hall Lobby: The interior painted ceilings and relief details are superb and well worth the photos.
🕰️ Itinerary suggestions
Morning → Head to Buffalo City Hall first, indoor and outdoor check-in
Noon → A casual meal in the city center
Afternoon → Drive 30 minutes to Niagara Falls State Park to feel the majesty of the Great Falls up close
Evening → Cross Rainbow Bridge to Canada on the other side for night views (if time and visa are convenient)
💡Tips
The City Hall Observation Deck is open free of charge, but be aware of opening hours (open on weekdays, closed on weekends).
Wear warm enough to go to Niagara in winter, the moisture plus the cold wind is really cold.
Parking is easy in downtown Buffalo, making it the most convenient to schedule your trip by car.
📸 With both American Art Deco architectural aesthetics and world-class natural landscapes, Buffalo is more worthwhile than you think!
