Jigokudani (Hell Valley) 🌋

🇯🇵 Hell Valley (or "Jigokudani") in Noboribetsu, Hokkaido, is a unique natural attraction with a strikingly unusual landscape. The area is filled with steam and sulfurous gases rising from the ground.

👹According to local beliefs, this area is believed to be the home of a demon, or "Okuninushi," a guardian of volcanoes and hot springs.
