♨️Noboribetsu Jigokudani's stunning autumn scenery｜Oyunuma Nature Trail & Lookout

If you're in Hokkaido, you absolutely can't miss Noboribetsu Onsen's Jigokudani! Jigokudani in autumn is absolutely stunning. The volcanic terrain, framed by crimson foliage, creates a layered, breathtaking experience.

We followed the Oyunuma Nature Trail from Jigokudani to the Oyunuma Observatory. The trail, bathed in the scent of sulfur and the steaming hot spring stream, felt like an adventure and was incredibly fun. The view from the observatory, overlooking the marshland and crimson forest, was breathtaking.

The entire trail takes about 30 minutes to complete and is highly recommended for a day trip to Noboribetsu!
