Delicious Nyonya Food in Penang

Brought my family out to Rasa Sayang Nyonya Cuisine in Pulau Tikus for lunch today, and the food is fresh and delicious. The service is good, friendly owner and the few items that we ordered were superb.

Loved their starter platter which comes with 5 items, the sambal heh bee or dried prawns is good, if you like the drier style, the otah and lobak is nice but I am not a fan of acar.

The asam prawns were fresh and nice balance on its asam sauce, and the consistency is good. The asam pedas fish is my favorite, sweet, sour, and slightly spicy with fresh stingray. The jiuhu char is also nice, although a stronger flavor of cuttlefish would have made it better. Their unique dish here is their sweet and sour pork lard. Amazing combination with their super fresh lard.
