🇱🇰Horton Plains, Sri Lanka

Horton Plains is the only national park in Sri Lanka where tourists are allowed to hike. It was listed as a World Heritage Site in 2010.
Many people come here to go to the "end of the world"⛰️
Some people are looking forward to seeing animals🦌
When I arrived at the site, what attracted me most was its magical climate:
It turns out that the end of the world is far more than a check-in sign with the word "world's end". At 10 o'clock every morning, thick fog will roll up from the mountains on both sides in a stable and visible dynamic. Standing on the top of the mountain, the vast plains and lakes in front of you are covered by fog until they disappear❗
People who go to Horton Plains usually stay in Nuwara Eliya, which is a 1-hour drive away. You need to leave at 5 am in the morning. You can pack the hotel breakfast and eat it in the car. You will most likely see a very beautiful sunrise and sea of clouds🌅
