The ANA Crowne Plaza Hotel in Okayama is located across from the West Exit of JR Okayama Station. It has a great location, but it's a bit more challenging than accommodations near the East Exit, as most shopping malls are located there. There's a Lawson convenience store on the first floor for shopping. The rooms are small, but the views from the upper floors are great. The breakfast is delicious, with both Japanese and European buffets. The black curry rice is especially recommended. If you redeem IHG points for a night's stay, it's around NT$2,200, which is quite affordable.

If you're planning to attend the Setouchi Art Festival, this is a great place to stay the night before. It's convenient for catching the ferry to Kyobashi or getting to Tamano Port.
