If you’re a pancake lover, you can’t miss Paanilani in Onna, Okinawa! This super popular Hawaiian-style pancake house serves some of the fluffiest and most flavorful pancakes around. The cozy, tropical vibes make it a perfect spot for a relaxing breakfast or brunch.

I ordered the "Japancake," which comes with sweet anko (red bean paste) on top, and the classic macadamia nut sauce pancakes. Both were amazing! The pancakes were light, fluffy, and buttery, while the toppings added the perfect amount of sweetness. The macadamia nut sauce was especially rich and creamy—I can see why it’s a fan favorite!
