Osaka-Kansai Expo 2025 Visit Report

🎡Introduction

I had the opportunity to visit the Osaka-Kansai Expo (EXPO 2025 OSAKA) held in 2025. It was a unique chance to experience future technologies and cultures through the various pavilions from around the world.

🌀Welcomed by the Official Mascot at the Entrance

As I entered the venue, the first thing that caught my eye was the adorable official mascot "Myakumyaku" in blue and red. People of all ages were taking photos with it, creating a bright and cheerful atmosphere throughout the venue.

🇨🇳China Pavilion

The first pavilion I visited was the China Pavilion. Its exterior, featuring warm wooden textures and engraved Chinese characters, left a strong impression with its blend of tradition and future. Inside, visitors could explore environmental technologies and historical culture through videos and exhibits, which many found fascinating.

🇦🇪United Arab Emirates Pavilion (UAE Pavilion)

Next, I visited the UAE Pavilion, which exuded the unique ambiance of a desert nation. The interior, combining glass and bamboo, highlighted the beauty of natural materials. The video displays of futuristic Dubai were particularly impressive, offering a glimpse into cutting-edge advancements.

🇲🇾Malaysia Pavilion

Following that, I headed to the Malaysia Pavilion. The flags of Japan and Malaysia were displayed side by side, symbolizing a friendly relationship. The exhibits focused on the theme of coexistence with nature, radiating a sense of tropical tranquility and energy.

🇺🇸USA Pavilion

The USA Pavilion showcased popular exhibits on technology and space exploration. The most striking display was the "Moon Rock" brought back during the Apollo missions. The dynamic video presentations also conveyed a sense of hope for the future.

🌇Evening and Night at the Venue

As evening approached, the sky turned orange, and the wooden structures glowed fantastically. At night, the venue was illuminated, revealing a serene beauty distinct from the daytime. It felt like stepping into a futuristic city. The massive roof ring was particularly awe-inspiring.

🕓Conclusion

The Osaka-Kansai Expo venue was a place where people connected beyond nations and cultures. Each country's creativity and individuality were on full display, making it a day to reflect on the future of our planet.
