🗻【Otaru Tenguyama Half-Day Trip】Personal Experience Sharing

Recently, I visited Tenguyama in Otaru City, Hokkaido, and found it to be a perfect place for families to relax and unwind. There's a direct bus from Otaru Station to the Tenguyama Ropeway station, making it very convenient! Great for families without a car!

Upon arriving at the summit, we first went to the observation deck for a breathtaking panoramic view of Otaru City and Ishikari Bay – a perfect spot for taking photos. Next, we visited the Tengu statue; it's said that touching it brings good luck!

During the summer, there's a chipmunk park on the mountain. Admission is free, but you can purchase food for ¥300 to feed the chipmunks. They are lively, adorable, and unafraid of strangers, interacting enthusiastically with visitors – a particularly enjoyable activity for children.

In addition, there's a Tengu Shrine at the summit. To conclude our trip, we enjoyed matcha ice cream at TENGUU Café – quite delicious, a perfect ending to our journey. Some activities are also available at the summit, such as helium balloon rides and zip-lining, suitable for thrill-seekers.

The entire summit of Mt. Tengu boasts excellent facilities, with many attractions offering free admission. It's a fun and affordable option, perfect for a relaxing half-day trip.
