🍰【Otaru Dessert Recommendation】LeTAO Main Store: A must-visit for cheesecake lovers!

In Otaru, Hokkaido, in addition to walking the canal and eating seafood, there is also a dessert shop that I highly recommend—LeTAO headquarters! This is an Otaru landmark-level famous shop, focusing on cheesecake.

As soon as you enter, there is a souvenir section with a variety of popular items, including:

• Signature Double Fromage
• Chocolate cheesecake
• Cookies, chocolates, jams and other beautifully packaged desserts

🍽️ Upper Café: Sit down and enjoy the cake slowly

Up to the second floor is LeTAO Café, the environment is very comfortable, the window seat can look at the street view slowly enjoy dessert. Ordered two cheesecake Set, there are:

• Classic double layer cheesecake
• Chocolate cheesecake

There is also a special menu in summer, with seasonal cantaloupe cake🍰

Each cake is smooth and fragrant, rich in cheese flavor but not greasy, served with coffee or red tea is great. Kids love it!

🌇 Observation Deck: Overview of Otaru Street

Don't be in a hurry after dessert. Walk up to the top floor of the Café and there is an observation deck! You can see the Otaru shopping street and nearby views. It's beautiful to take pictures, especially at dusk.

Nearby is another popular shop, Otaru Music Box Hall. It's like a music box museum, with a variety of music boxes to choose from and some old music box exhibitions.

• Opening Hours: 10:00 – 18:00 (last order at Cafe around 17:30)
• Access: About 15 minutes walk from JR Otaru Station and walk straight along Sakaicho-dori Shopping Street

It is recommended to go early to avoid the crowds, and you can slowly choose souvenirs + enjoy dessert!
