🚶♀️ Strolling the streets of Otsu

Otsu, just a short trip from Kyoto!

I especially loved the road from Otsu Station to Lake Biwa. 💙
The atmosphere, as if the breeze from the vast lake were blowing, and the tranquil streets strangely evoked a sense of travel.

As I walked along the road, I came across simple shops and cafes,
and glimpsed the daily lives of locals here and there. 🏘️
It had a different kind of leisurely pace from the bustling streets of Kyoto,
making it a perfect place for a leisurely stroll alone or with friends.

The tram was particularly impressive. 🚋
It was truly captivating to see it running along the road connecting the city and the sea.
It was beautiful for photos, and riding it gave me a small thrill,
making the start of my Lake Biwa trip special.

The breathtaking view of Lake Biwa unfolding before me at the end of the road to the lake 🌊
I felt like I was walking along, thinking, "Ah, this is what travel is all about." If you're looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city, I recommend taking a leisurely stroll through Otsu.
