🏰 Mövenpick Resort Khao Yai Review – Relaxing in a European Castle in the Heart of Khao Yai
If you're looking for a getaway that feels like something out of a fairytale… Mövenpick Resort Khao Yai is the answer!
As soon as you drive through the entrance, you'll feel like you've stepped foot into Europe – a pale-hued castle nestled amidst mountains, lush green lawns, and a Tuscan-inspired atmosphere that's hard to believe you're in Thailand!
---
🌄 Atmosphere & Location
This place is perfect for taking a deep breath amidst nature, offering 360-degree mountain views and cool breezes all day long. The resort is located quite far from Pak Chong city, making it very quiet and private.
---
🏠 Rooms & Villas
We stayed in a 3-bedroom villa with a private pool and golf course views. The room was incredibly spacious! Decorated in a classic European style, the bed was incredibly soft, making you want to stay in. The bathroom was large and clean. If you're looking for a different room type, we recommend checking the reviews first, as some reviews say the rooms look a bit dated.
---
🍳 Breakfast & Restaurant
Breakfast buffet… excellent! They offer both Thai and international cuisine, freshly baked bread, freshly squeezed juices, and aromatic coffee that exceeds the standards of a 4-5 star hotel.
If you're staying all day and don't want to go anywhere, there are restaurants within the resort to choose from. However, if you'd like to try something new, it might be a bit of a drive away.
---
🐴 Activities & Fun
Large outdoor pool
Golf course & 24-hour fitness center
A small animal farm for the kids to enjoy
Lots of photo opportunities! Especially in front of the castle and on the lawn.

👍 What we liked most:
✔ Feels like being in a foreign country
✔ Polite and attentive staff
✔ Private villas feel like vacation homes
✔ Breakfast was better than expected
✔ Perfect for families, couples, or groups of friends looking for a relaxing getaway. Highly recommended.
