Weekend getaway within 3hr by car from HCMC

I don’t usually write hotel reviews, but The Anam Mui Ne deserves every word.

From the moment I arrived, I felt like I’d stepped into a peaceful little world far away from the usual chaos of travel. The resort has this old-world charm - think French-Indochine vibes with a touch of barefoot luxury. It’s not flashy; it’s quietly elegant in a way that makes you instantly feel at ease.

The staff greeted me with the kind of warmth that doesn’t feel rehearsed. It was genuine. My room? Absolutely beautiful. Teak furniture, hand-painted tiles, and the most incredible freestanding bathtub I’ve ever seen. I literally planned a whole evening around that bath - candles, a book, and a glass of wine from the mini-bar. Heaven.

What I loved most was the balance of luxury and sustainability. They’ve ditched single-use plastics, use solar energy, and even recycle laundry water for their gardens. It made me feel good about indulging a little.

If you’re looking for loud nightlife or big resort crowds, this isn’t the place. But if you want to slow down, breathe deeply, and feel taken care of - I can’t recommend The Anam Mui Ne enough.

Already planning my return. Next time, for longer. #localguides #muine #vietnam
