One-Day Trip Review: Exploring "Lazy Phi Phi" at Phi Phi Islands

I visited Thailand's Phi Phi Islands (also known as the Phi Phi Archipelago)! The stunning beauty of emerald green seas and pristine white sandy beaches feels like stepping into a picture-perfect paradise. Maya Bay, famously featured in the movie 'The Beach,' is a mystical cove surrounded by towering cliffs that leaves visitors in awe.
At Monkey Beach, wild monkeys appeared up close, their playful antics bringing smiles to everyone's faces—though keeping a respectful distance is important. On the west coast, Long Beach and Nui Beach offered tranquil waves and crystal-clear waters, perfect for leisurely snorkeling. I encountered coral reefs and tropical fish, feeling a special connection with the underwater world.
Accessing the islands takes about two hours by ferry or just one hour by speedboat from Phuket. On the island, transportation is minimal, with bicycles and boats being the main modes of travel, adding to its charm. Surrounded by nature and a relaxed pace of life, Phi Phi Islands truly felt like a hidden paradise. I hope to return someday to relive the same breathtaking views alongside the waves!
📍Located about an hour east by boat from Phuket Island
