Introducing Bailong Cave

Bailong Cave, also known as Bailong Temple, is located about 800 meters above sea level, about two miles above Qingyin Pavilion on Mount Emei in Sichuan. Founded by Master Biechuan during the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty, the temple derives its name from the original Upper and Lower Bailong Caves, both of which are said to be the place where Lady White pursued her spiritual cultivation.

In the past, the three characters "Bailong Cave" were engraved on the white rock to the right of the temple, but now the upper entrance has been submerged and the lower entrance has been naturally closed.

The White Dragon Temple is divided into two halls, the front hall is called the Three Saints Hall, where the "Three Saints of the West" and Skanda are enshrined; the back hall is the Main Hall, where the Three Saints of Huayan, Medicine Buddha, Guanyin and Ksitigarbha are enshrined.
