Phu Quoc Island is a newly-emerged resort in Vietnam in recent years. It is a popular island resort with a huge crowd of people because of visa-free access and direct flights, and the relatively affordable prices in Vietnam. It is not inferior to Phuket, Koh Samui and Bali, and is very suitable for a mindless and relaxing vacation.

This time we stayed at Crowne Plaza Phu Quoc Starbay. The quality of Crowne Plaza is quite good, especially at the seaside, it has a resort feel. You can overlook the Bai Dai Bay from the hotel room, which is a plus.

The hotel has complete facilities, including an outdoor swimming pool, spa, gym and beachfront restaurant. You can also enjoy fire dance performances and sunset views, which is quite chill. Otherwise, it is very convenient to go out to Fortune World for food, drinks and entertainment as there is a free shuttle.

The standard sea view room is 40 square meters in size, and the best thing is that it has a balcony facing the sea where you can enjoy the sunshine and sea breeze outdoors. The price for two people including breakfast is about NT$5,500, which is moderately acceptable for a five-star resort hotel. After all, the overall environment, facilities and services are very holiday-like.
