Accommodation we stayed at for 2 nights on our first day in Phu Quoc:
✔️ Dusit Princess Moonrise Beach Resort, Phu Quoc
✔️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4-star hotel
✔️ Free airport pickup available
✔️ Private beach
✔️ Walking distance to King Kong Mart (a bit of a walk)
✔️ ATM within a 3-minute walk
✔️ Bus stop within a 3-minute walk
✔️ Located in the central area, ideal for those seeking a quiet stay
✔️ Breakfast buffet is peaceful (their egg dishes are exceptional)
✔️ Around 100,000 KRW per night
✔️ Special occasion decorations available
Located near the airport in central Phu Quoc, this area had limited appealing accommodations. Then we discovered this cost-effective 4-star hotel, Dusit Princess Moonrise Beach Resort.
Upon researching, I found that the Dusit Princess chain originates from Thailand. We requested airport pickup during booking, and they were ready at the scheduled time. A staff member holding a 'Dusit Princess' sign greeted us and helped us with our luggage to the van.
Despite our late evening check-in due to an afternoon flight, the staff warmly welcomed us with exceptional service. Waking up to clear skies, we enjoyed a peaceful, private atmosphere. Strolling to the breakfast restaurant felt like a serene walk. The buffet offered a variety of dishes, including vegan options, banh mi, pho, and diverse egg dishes like omelets, scrambled eggs, and fried eggs made to order.
During our stay in Phu Quoc, we visited four hotels and resorts, and Dusit Princess had the best egg dishes. I think I consumed an entire tray of eggs in Vietnam, haha.
The pool was never crowded, and there were hardly any Koreans—just one or two couples. The private beach in front of the hotel was perfect for swinging on hammocks, lounging on sunbeds, and simply relaxing in the tranquil atmosphere.
Dusit Princess Moonrise Beach Resort felt like our own little world. Stepping outside, however, you’re greeted by the bustling streets of Vietnam, with motorbikes zipping by—a stark contrast to the peaceful haven inside the hotel.
If you’re looking for a quiet accommodation near the lively areas of Phu Quoc, I highly recommend this place. 👍
