Every year, during the Tenth Month Festival, southern Thais gather to make merit and dedicate it to their ancestors. It's believed that the spirits of relatives will return to visit their descendants. 🍃

"Jad" is a container that descendants carefully weave from coconut stalks, palm leaves, or bamboo, filled with food, snacks, and fruit. It's offered to monks, dedicates it to deceased relatives, and also to spirits or wandering spirits. 🕊️
It's like a small merit-making krathong filled with gratitude and remembrance.

📍This year, Ban Phon will host the "Jad Tenth Month" event
on September 22, 2025. This year's parade is guaranteed to be grander than ever. Every village in SriSunthon Subdistrict is dedicated to its spirits. 🌟
