Misty Rain in Jiangnan Jiulong Mountain Mystical Scenery

A serene Zen realm privately cherished by Jiaxing locals! Just a 1-hour drive to this mountain and sea Buddhist kingdom, where standing on the temple terrace you can see yellow walls and green tiles while gazing at the waves of the East China Sea. The scent of incense mixed with the salty sea breeze is truly unique.

📍Address: Zhaquan Road, Zha Pu Town, Pinghu City, Jiaxing
🚗 Driving Tips: 1.5 hours direct drive from Hangzhou/Shanghai, the scenic area parking lot is huge, no need to fight for a spot

🌊 Must-visit Routes
1️⃣ Waipushan Zen Temple ➡️ Tongtian Bridge
A Tang-style temple floating above the sea! When crossing Tongtian Bridge, waves crash beneath your feet. Wearing Hanfu and taking photos on the S-shaped curve of the bridge is super fairy-like.
📸 Tips: At 4 PM during low tide, reef rocks appear on both sides of the bridge, creating a "Buddhist kingdom on the sea" vibe, perfect for stunning shots.

2️⃣ Xiaoputuo Zen Temple
A hidden gem halfway up the mountain! In front of the Mahavira Hall stands a 300-year-old ginkgo tree. In autumn, golden leaves cover the stone steps, creating a breathtaking scene. This time it was still lush and green.
🍂 Hidden Experience: Ask the master for a string of consecrated eighteen seeds (limited quantity!)

👘 Outfit Suggestion: On rainy days, be sure to bring an oil-paper umbrella! Mossy stone steps + misty sea instantly give off a martial arts movie atmosphere.

🍜 Zen Experience
· The Arhat noodles at the vegetarian canteen are quite delicious.
· At the foot of the mountain in Zha Pu fishing village, you can eat freshly caught swimming crabs.

💡 Pitfall Tips
1. Don’t be fooled by the name "Xiaoputuo"! It has ten times fewer people than the real Putuo Mountain in Zhoushan.
2. Tongtian Bridge is very windy! Sisters wearing skirts, remember to bring a jacket. Don’t ask me how I know. If you’re timid, be sure to hold onto your companions, or you won’t dare to take a single step.
