The biggest surprise of this trip to Pingtan was staying at this stunning sea view guesthouse—Ximo Lost Villa! The combination of a cliffside sea view and a huge infinity pool makes every photo look like a masterpiece 🌊
🏠 Location:
Hidden in a small fishing village in Aoqian Town, it enjoys a private quiet sea area. Driving and navigation are super convenient (address: 64-1, Diankaowei, Diankao). It’s a 15-minute drive from the high-speed rail station, making it easy to find food or visit attractions in the county town~
✨ Reasons to recommend:
1️⃣ Truly immersive sea view
The creamy Mediterranean-style architecture perfectly blends with the blue sky and sea. Every room has an unbeatable sea view window! You can watch the sunrise and sunset lying in bed, and a 3-minute walk takes you to a private beach—no need to squeeze with crowds for photos.
2️⃣ Must-check-in internet-famous pool
The infinity pool on the cliff edge directly connects with the sea horizon. Put on a bright swimsuit and lean by the pool, and you’ll instantly get a magazine cover vibe! It’s best to shoot in the early morning or evening when the sunlight sparkles on the water—super dreamy.
3️⃣ Thoughtful butler service
From check-in, there’s a photographer to guide your poses (the photos turn out amazing). The butler also brings a hand-drawn food map. They even prepare Instagram-style picnic props on the private beach—perfect for sunset silhouette shots!
📸 Recommended photo spots:
• Floating breakfast in the pool (remember to order the tropical fruit platter as a prop)
• Rooftop terrace lounge chair + straw hat + English newspaper
• Back view shots in front of the floor-to-ceiling window in the room
• White spiral staircase leading to the beach
⚠️ Practical tips:
• Driving is the most convenient; the guesthouse offers free parking
• Avoid swimming at noon in summer as the pool has no shade
• Contact the butler in advance to book the photo shoot service (may be free in the off-season)
• Don’t miss the market-price crab at the seafood stall next door!
