I visited in January around lunchtime on a weekday. There were few tourists, so it was very empty and comfortable.
There are many restaurants, cafes, general stores, etc., but you can also enjoy just walking around and taking photos. There are photo spots here and there, and cute character objects.
In the peak season, it seems like it will be a place that many tourists visit.
It is within walking distance from the station, but I took a look around on a YouBike.
On hot days, it is also good to use the bus or YouBike.
