Check-In, Chill Out: DoubleTree by Hilton Putrajaya

Checked into DoubleTree by Hilton Putrajaya and immediately greeted by what should be Malaysia’s official welcome gift—a warm chocolate chip cookie. That alone deserved 5 stars. But thankfully, the rest of the stay didn’t disappoint either!

The room was spacious, squeaky clean, and had that fluffy hotel bed that makes you question your entire mattress situation at home. Bonus: lake views so calming, even your overthinking brain takes a break. The pool? Massive. The vibe? Resort-style. The temptation to never check out? Very real.

Breakfast buffet was a glorious event—with everything from roti canai to croissants pretending to be healthy. And if you're up for a stroll, the lakeside trail is the perfect place to burn off some of the calories... before heading back for round two of desserts.

Perfect for couples, families, or solo escapees running from responsibilities. Would I stay again? Yes. For the cookie alone.
