🌈Attraction highlights: Walk, take a boat, or helicopter tour along the Wujiang River to experience the karst valley.
🚗Transportation: On non-holidays, you can drive there by navigating to Huawu Village. Drive along the Wujiang River and stop at any suitable exit ramp where you want to explore. Pay attention to one-way road signs on your return journey. During holidays or summer vacation when it's crowded, private vehicles cannot enter Huawu Village, and you'll need to take shuttle buses instead.
💗Other tips:
The cover photo was taken from a small viewing platform near the Huadu Huawu Holiday Camp, which offers great views with bluer water and a view of the Yachihe Bridge.
After passing the small viewing platform, the road is mostly downhill, with a winding mountain section that requires extra caution for novice drivers.
Near the riverbank, the water appears more green than blue compared to the view from higher elevations. You can take boat tours or helicopter rides (we didn't try either), and we just found a grassy area to sit and chat. Note that you shouldn't set up tents ⛺ in areas marked "no camping" as these might be helicopter landing zones.
Overall, it's a small place with narrow roads - a great spot for relaxation when it's not crowded, but the experience may not be as pleasant during peak times.
